Swear Filter Too Strict

Post by SynAck on Tue Aug 26, 2014 1:08 am

I'm finding that the swear filter in the guild chat is catching words that only have swear words as part of them. For instance the word "Assassin" gets filtered and the message blocked because of how it's spelled. I was trying to tell me guild about assists in battle and it kept getting blocked for obvious reasons.

We're aware of this issue and are seeing what we can do for our overzealous chat filter.

In the mean time, I propose using "stabby stealthy kill-guy" in place of assassin. Wink

Ha, I'm glad you guys are aware. I've just been putting strategic spaces in words I know are ok, but would get filtered. Thanks for the update.
